On Your Way Down was played for the first known time since August 12, 1989 (1,007 shows), although it had been teased as recently as the summer of 1997 (see July 23 and August 16). Trey teased Super Bad in 2001. The encore featured a guest appearance from Warren Haynes on guitar.

uctweezer I can't be certain without manually checking a bunch of statistics, but this "On Your Way Down" is one of very few 1000+ show bustouts, and may have been the largest bustout up until that point. My first show was the next night : /

Review by Bob_Loblaw

Bob_Loblaw This is the stereotypical very average show with some giant peaks along the way.

The first set is very straight forward with some exceptions of On Your Way Down and some of the Stash intensity. The general attitude is short and sweet throughout the set.

Set 2 is also fairly straight forward with a GIANT exception. The Weekapaug groove is pure Trey shreddery and I hope the temperature was cool this night because I'm sure faces were melted, without a doubt a classic Weekapaug. Mountains in the Mist does it's thing as a cool down song.

Of Course the encore also destroys Trey has fantastic interplay with Warren and it's a pretty heavy version of Misty Mountain Hop, a great way to cap the show.

Overall nothing to write home about except a few choice versions of songs.

Review by Phan2112

Phan2112 This show is pretty good. The 2nd set opening 2001>Mikes-> H2O> Weekapaug is fantastic. The MMH encore is cool to. The rest of the 2nd set isn't the best. Its well played but not as jammy. But download this show just for the Begining of the 2nd set.

Review by Gumbo72203

Gumbo72203 The 2nd set is all about the Weekapaug. 2001 > Mike's is perfunctory. Nothing standing out necessitating any re-listens, except Mike's playing is great on the Aud. The transition into Hydrogen and the beginning of Hydrogen is VERY awesome.

However, Hydrogen falls apart quickly, and the band does not hold it together. The latter half of the composed part is Coventry-bad. They can't even hook up on the last line to the outro. Even the start to Weekapaug is goofed because of this. Quite unfortunate, and very embarrassing for them. I honestly can't believe people clapped after that. It was very awkward to listen to.
