Very upbeat version.. opening is otherwise standard.
Nothing noteworthy.
"Boy" at 4:56. At 6:57 (very early), the tramps segment
unquestionably begins. Mike is making the signals on the
bass. Page is wigging out in here as usual, Fish is
keeping the groove, Trey is silent (bouncin!), and the AUD
is goin' crazy.
At 8:27, Trey comes in with a little chord here and there,
and effectively teases Wilson (along with Mike) briefly.
My copy cuts to side B.. at least a couple seconds lost
(sounds like no more than a few). Trey's jamming in this
segment is very nice (one lick sounds like Slip Knot..
just a bit! ;). Jam segment is great, as usual.. excited
jamming from Trey. Bass and drums around 11:50 or so.
Nothing extraordinary from Mike or Fish. At 12:22 WUDMTF
closing segment kicks in. Vocal jam has some YABBA DABBAs
from Trey in the beginning.. ;) Lots of Buh sounds in
this vocal jam.. it is brought to us by the letter "B" ...
and then, eventually, it sounds like they are saying "You
better turn your rod in." ;) Don't ask.. yes, that is
what they are clearly saying. The very end is a slllow
Turn Your Rod In... ;) with some effects. Total time is
16 minutes, and Possum kicks right in (Possum starts up as
the vocal jam is being sustained out). (C rating)
