Opening is ok, but Trey hits some notes in the Pre-Charge
that sound like something from Big Ball Jam.. not really
that grand, imo. Otherwise normal (great).
"Boy" at 5:25. Reasonably good WUDMTF segment. Nothing
special..
At 8:30, during Page's jam (tramps jam segment), Mike
starts repeatedly playing "Another One Bites the Dust"
(the bass line, obviously, of this Queen tune). Trey
comes in around 9:06, but Page is still leading the jam,
basically.
At 9:43 the jam segment officially begins, with Trey
taking control. At 10:19 Trey teases Wilson.. his
jamming in here is modestly melodic.. nothing
spectacular. He sounds more interested in creating and
pampering a theme, than in just WAILING... which, of
course, makes for a very flowing, harmonious jam. Around
12:20 Trey's jamming sounds somewhat akin to Funky Bitch,
but isn't quite a tease.
Oooooooooooouuuuuuu... Mike opens the Bass and Drums jam
magnifiscently at 12:40.. He's very snappy and quick in
here, with some serious Gumbo teases... niiiice.
Final WUDMTF closing segment begins 13:17 or so, and it
dissolves as usual into a vocal jam. It is more tolerable
than usual.. very thematic and rockin', and not as Small
Furry Creatures as it could be. Someone teases a classical
piece that I should know but don't (I think Mike teases
it). Most of you would recognize this piece. The vocal
jam ends with mouth-noises (clacking sounds).. actually..
Trey is playing his adam's apple, I think. Fluffhead
starts up out of the vocal jam at 18:09. (C rating)
