Mike sounds really funky at the beginning of this
version, as if he was using a Strange Device. Crowd
was really into it in the beginning, too, making it
more interesting than usual. The opening lyrics
segment contains the standard stuff, but is very
lively and not entirely straight-up.
The jam segment starts out in typical tweezeresque
(dark and funky) fashion, with Mike especially
pronounced. All I can say is that this is a solid
version of Tweezer, but nothing really happens,
especially in light of 1994's versions. This was
simply boring by comparison to even the Lehigh
10/7/94's Tweezer. Anyway, 11/30/90's Tweezer was a
mere 9 minutes or so. This version, like all of the
old ones, kicks back into a short little final
Tweezer theme after the dying out of the jam segment,
but who cares. Even the best of the old versions
just do not compare to the shit that has happened in
this song in the 1993-4 period. Oh yeah, a rating.
Uh, assuming 5.0 is average (out of 10.0), I give
this a 3.5-4.0 or something (D+).
